Can we talk about how usually whenever Data says something odd or out of place (for him anyway) Geordi doesn’t go to the most obvious option; broken system. He goes to the human option. He asks why Data would say that. And he tries to create a human reason. Honestly that’s one of the reasons I love Geordi so much. Despite being the one who is closest to him (knows the most about him) and fixes him mechanically, he always treats Data like he is a human.
